This probley is a stupid question but im kinda new at moding so here is my question.
Could there be a way to add a laser sight that you can acually see on a .223 pistol in fallout 2?

Thanks for your help....

If we could create a pistol who could have two kinds of fires and have one firing constantly with 0 damage and just showing a red line (as the laser sight), and using the second fire to fire the weapon.

Yes, it's possible. And it's a good idea, too.

*cough cough*

Most likely you'll have to change the engine for that, and if you even succeed, all that will look very raw

Well? You can't make a gun that would fire instantly in Fallout2. Also, i doubt whether a red line could be a fire effect.

RE: *cough cough*

A second fire switches the laser, the primary one fires.
The explosion could be just a red line, and it would be constantly firing.

We gotta try, I don't think that it's gonna be neccessary to change the engine.

RE: *cough cough*

well? imagine you sucseed doing this. Then you'll have the "whoever was hit for no damage" every time you shoot. And then it'll occure you can make critical hits with laser sight. 8) And you know why I doubt that a red line could be a fire effect? Because if it was possible, it would have been the fire effect of laser rifles/pistols/ I guess a fire effect should be always moving from weapon to target, and that was the problem.
