This Years Cosplay...

So I posted our last cosplay about year ago, the wife and I did some armored vault jumpsuits. Several people here asked about spandex style suits, and power armor. So that's exactly what we did this year. We built two T-45d Suits. And the wife went with the new Fallout 4 style suit. It's not perfect but we worked our asses off and we figured if anyone this community could appreciate it.

Not too bad. Y'know, I could make you a set of power armor out of metal, if you wanted. 26 gauge would be around 15lbs for the whole suit, and relatively inexpensive.
I've made lyrics segmentata with it because I was bored.

That would be pretty sweet, sounds expensive labor wise.

I'd charge 20/hour. Took me about 6 hours to make functional(but not 100% historical[and not combat pracitcal]) lorica. Just eyeballing, a suit of power armor might be 10-12 hours. That's highballing it.

That wouldn't be too bad considering the end product. We may have to talk.

Sure. Send me a pm, I'll look around for a cheap source of 26 gauge steel. Currently I'm working on an SCA brigandine, but I can always put that on hold.
