Trolling with STALKER tech questions

I recently got STALKER and installed both patches 1.0001 and 1.0003 but the 2ndary graphics still act weird like when it rains or if I look at they sky the tress sometimes blur and multiply. Also I noticed the game acts a lot slower when you’re in the basement probably do to all the light effect. Anyone have any another suggestion I was playing FEAR without a problem so I don’t think its my computer.

well, if you have old graphics drivers: update. if you have new graphics drivers: roll back.

yeah, it's stupid i know, but STALKER appearantly doesn't like some drivers.

I had this problem, if you don't want to mess around with your drivers (and it's a pain rolling back to play stalker then updating to play other games) try turning full screen off.

Thanks, turning full screen off seemed to work. Now is there any way to center and strech the screen?

Just hide your taskbar and then choose a resolution that fills your screen. You should be able to run it windowed at 1280x1024.
