trouble installing mods patches and saved games

I know this lame but i don't know how to install these files (they're all for fallout 2):
Fallout 2 patch, add kids patch, and inventory editor fallout2 saved game files. you don't have to babyme y'know like guiding me step by step (that would be nice) but just please give me an idea of what to do. all help is appreciated.

The fallout 2 patch, you run the exe you download from interplay's site and read the readme.

I don't know for the gore patch since I have American version.

And fallout saved games files go in data\savegames (I believe, I may be off by a directory).
