Trouble Running in OSX Leopard 10.5.3

From what I understand, Apple has removed 256 color support from OSX 10.5.3 and up. Is there any way other than downgrading to 10.5.2 to run Fallout 1 or 2?
 
You could use another partition/drive to set up a dual-boot system with an earlier version of the OS. A bit of a pain to have to reboot to play Fallout, though. It might be possible to run the Windows version using Parallels or Wine (if you have an Intel Mac) or Virtual PC (for PPC Macs). If that works, you'll be able to play the Restoration Project.
