True Poker

Doesn't this kind of defeat the purpose of playing the game?

The fun of poker is in beating the other guys through luck, intimidation, skill, and slyness.

Here, it's just luck. What's the fun?
 
Let me tell you one thing about poker: you can win only with an exceptional luck, and that is bound to run out eventually or by cheating. Seeing how you can't cheat on the net what is the point? You might as well play solitaire. :roll:
 
There's a lot more tro poker than just luck. Sure, it helps having the right cards but the big trick is convincing the table your pair of deuces is really a set of four. That's where poker is realy played.
 
The real trick is to deal yourself that set of four without anyone at the table catching on, or at least a full house, otherwise it could all be a matter of how much you raise the stakes.
 
Uhh..first of all, cheating at poker is mad gay. Second, the only good poker is Texas Hold'em. Dealing yourself 4 of a kind. bah. That's teh gay.
 
Cheat at poker with some of my friends and you'll probably get your ass kicked. :)
 
Well, the trick is to be so good that nobody can prove it, and most important, you musn't win constantly, you have to balance out the winning and the losing so that overall you win, without the other players getting so pissed at you that they could lynch you on the spot. THAT is an art and I know only one man who can do that, and that man is not me, so I don't play poker to win money, I just play it to pass the time with my friend and the bids may as well be inexistent.
