I still like the graphics.
Look at me! I'm wearing day glow red and still whipping your butt!
Seriously though, I still think the character generation will let you pick your colors for your armor, hair color, skin tone, etc. I think it's a game device to let you tell your guys apart.

Not only that, but try this.. Set Strom to "Aggressive" in Real Time mode. You can just waltz him through both missions and take out everyone single-handedly without much problem.
>What happened to in-battle tactics?
What happened to the balance? That's a larger question than the tactics. You can argue that where you move your people are tactics, but considering they mainly kill everything that moves near them on agressive, it's not much more than a waiting game.
The balance is the big problem. In Turn Based mode, Agility = Speed, since agility determines APs, which determine how fast you can get in and out of situations.
In Real Time mode, everyone moves at the same speed, and movement is FREE. That's right, it doesn't take APs to run around.
Therefore, if you got a character, and you dumped a lot of points in to Agility, you're fine in Turn Based mode, but you're screwed in Real Time mode.
In TB mode, if I have a 9 Agility, Fast Shot, and Bonus ROF, I can move in to a door frame, get a shot off, and move back behind cover before my turn is up. In Real Time mode, I'll get plugged the minute I poke my head around the corner.
That's not helpful considering a person that's done his research in to the flaws of Real Time knows that Agility sucks for Real Time. You're better off going the Beefcake, high endurance route OR the long range, high perception route.
Therefore, it's much smarter to ignore Agility for the most part unless you're only going to play turn based mode. Simply put, that means that a character which will do well in TB mode may just plain suck in RT mode.
That's an IMBALANCE, people.
