turning fallout 2 uk version to usa completely?

First time out of the vault
its not only the children. ive played this game and memorised it in its time. now i want to take another shot but i seem to have bought the wrong version. some diaglogues and othher things are just not the same. i suspect its the master.dat file. i learned that theres a patch to convert the critter file to usa version but i just coulndt find the same thing with the master file.

what can i do? is there a place where i can fully learn the diffrances between the usa and the uk verions? is there a master file patch or anything?

There is no difference between UK and USA other than the children (and the occasional cd-rpotection). None whatsoever.
