Unable to load savegame

Been playing solid for a day or two, quicksaving using mutiple slots
etc. Go to load my screen starts to load up, Bam Error Loading Game:
Unable to load game.

Game: FO2 v 1.02d clean

Any suggestions?

There is a good chance that the save was corrupted. Always use multiple saves.

did you patch the game after saving? if so saves won't work but there is a save converter. download it and run, everything will be fine.

if you patched before then it should be corrupt, it happens sometimes.

I did prior to posting, as well as a forum search but i gave up after 20 some odd pages. There is no mention in the sticky about loading saved games
