So Old I'm Losing Radiation Signs
Huy Nguyen has kindly offered to help out with some bugs in saved games in this thread on the atari foums. All he asks for is a short description and a zipped save:

no detailed "bug report" is necessary, but a short description and a link to a .ZIP file containing the appropriate savegame files is much appreciated!

please refer to this post that fisk made:

short description and a link to a .ZIP file with the savegame files ...apologies, but we cannot offer anonymous FTP/hosting support for these .ZIP files.

savegame files are: (.tfaf, .tfai, .gsi, .jpg) in your "toee\bin\modules\toee\save" directory

You'll need to register at the Atari forums and find web space to hold your zips, but it could be well worth the trouble.

I think our modders want to wait a release v1.x or possibly even 2...

There isn't much point in getting a patch that does not address all issues...

True, but the ones the did fix sound good, plus the Ioun Stones add on sounds very nice. I signed up for the beta and have v 1.1 now, which is very helpful (masterwork items!). Well, hopefully it'll be public soon. Thanks Dan.

hehe... No problems, we only strive to help :)

The thing is we didn't want to really "change" the game, just fix it. The reason we had items you can craft was because we felt that feat was wasted... We are pretty sure Troika would add more items if they had more time.

Other then that, we do not add stuff that changes the game from it's original intent.

And, when we finish it, we still need to find a place to host the download... It won't be simple heh.

http://www.sorcerers.net maybe? I don't know what the deal is with them, but I know they have a ToEE section (under Games, and which is currently empty) and they host fan-made mods and files for other games. Might be worth a look.

I`m loosing my touch, damn it :D

I got Brian Fargo to confirm his statements on the yahoo group though
