Does anyone have any good stories, personal or otherwise or want to discuss some of the stories? If so, please post those urban legend stories here. BTW, www.snopes.com is a great website for such stories.

Well, in Croatia there's an urban legend about a giant, highly-intelligent and absolutely evil rat hiding somewhere in Zagreb and scheming to take over the world.

But that can't be true, right? :wink:
 
hey there was a gaint intelligent rat in FO2.


well a few years back my neighbors had like 300 chickens, and on one night nearly half died for no appernt reason. we later found out that it was one of my other neighbors driven to insanity by the lack of sleep because of the chickens.
 
At one point I knew an otherwise very intelligent girl who thought that there was in fact Asbestos in menthol cigarettes. This is a well-known urban legend and is completely false.

My favorite, though, is the rocket car. Here we have a link to what seems to be the explanation... could it be true, or is it just a (admittedly well-crafted) piece of fiction?

I'd never though I'd read an article on the internet that long in its entirety, but I did. Cool story, can't say if it's true or not.
