Vault 13 First Deathclaw won't let me in!

First time out of the vault
Well I'm back with another topic. This time I got to the Vault 13, got the Computer Voice Modulator and went in the Vault 13 and started talking to the Deathclaw (Gruthar) first I asked him about how he can talk (Which was said to do in the walkthrough) and when I offered help he said: "I think not. I can sense the evil in you, human. I cannot risk the lives of those I protect by taking a chance with you."
I really don't know what to do!

I hope I don't have to start all over cause of this!
 
Since you are a childkiller he will not work with you.
If it's possible to sneak by him, that is your only option, other than killing the lot of them.

Or you can cheat with F2se and remove your childkiller status.

Thanks for the advice, but where can I find F2se? If it's in the website files then could you give me a link or the full title?

P.S.
I tried to remove my childkiller status with Falche2(Fallout character editor 2) first I set the child kills from 2 to 0... didn't work.... then I even put a negative number -2 still didn't work!
 
F2se can be found here.
I haven't tried removing the childkiller myself so I don't know what is needed. Perhaps you need to remove it on a save that is before you've talked to Gruthar the first time.

Anyway, according to Per's Guide there are a few more tricks you can try with Gruthar, like lowering your intelligence with drugs... check it out.
 
Thank you! I haven't yet tried talking to Gruthar, but to "take away" the child killer status just click on the GVARS tab and where you find childkiller reputation=X (The number of children you killed) just change the number to 0!

I think you should live with the consequences of your actions and play it out that way, next time don't kill kids. Not being a dick, but that's kind of the point of the game. It is what makes the Fallouts so damn good.

Umm, yeah at the time I was just getting started with the game and was so happy to get my first weapons. I just went nuts ok!?

Edit: I truthfully am sad about what i've done and shall never forgive myself that...

Agreed. The only thing you cheat is cheating yourself out of the experience of the game. If the game is too hard as is you can give yourself 999 HP, every perk in the game and...
