Vehicle Question

I was looking at the vehicle acrobat file that was with the Pen & Paper game and I noticed a Taxi. Is this anywhere in game? All the other vehicles shown in the acrobat file I've come across. No Taxi though...

not sure I read on the china fallout union something about a "car" but can't say for sure because my language skills are very limited. They do however show two differant tank pictures.
 
IIRC, the Pen and Paper game (if it's the same one I d/l'ed from a link from this site a few months before the game came out, was something someone came up with on their own, well before we actually knew all those vehicles were in the game. In keeping with the post-apocalyptic theme, the taxi coulda feasibly been pulled outta "Escape from New York". AFAIK the P&P game has is in no way actually related to Interplay, but is just based in the Fallout universe.

didn't the pen and paper game come with the bost game? I swear it did. I don't remember downloading it. but maybe I did bc's now I can't find it on my drive anywhere. (don't remember deleting it either) maybe I dreamt it. Am I having waking dreams? I better go to sleep.
 
It may have been included with pre-orders of the game, but I'm guessing it's the same one that was downloadable on it's own previously.

Pen & Paper

The pen & paper version did indeed come on the bonus disc that came with most pre-orders.

I got the Pen & Paper with the Bonus Mission I downloaded from this very site. According to the readme it did indeed come with the pre-order version. If you downloaded the bonus mission, look in your FOT Start Menu directory for a shortcut or in your FOT folder on your HD. It should be there.
 
Well strike that last message. Looking in the Pen & Paper dir, the contents are 30megs. The bonus mission I downloaded isn't quite that big. Though its odd, I bought my game from EB after the game was out, not on pre-order. Maybe it was there all the time and I never noticed it.

insomnia got you down, well here take all these silly drugs that don't do a damn thing. We have white, green, pink pills that'll make you think your alice through the looking glass..but ya canna go to sleep!! Smeg's!
 
Ahh hehe thats right, I reverse my position again. I had to reinstall FOT for various reasons (even though i already beat, yay!) and i reinstalled the bonus mission and it ask me if i wanted the Pen and Paper. How sneaky to have it in the game and not give it to us to start with ;)
 
The PnP game that is accessed(sp?) with the bonus CD is similar to the independently created PnP game, but not the same. The other game can be d/led from www.iamapsycho.com (along with a handy guide to building your very own H-bomb :)).

hope this clears things up a bit
