vehicles

Someone in an earlier post said that you can bring the vehicles onto the missions. Has anyone else found this to be true?

If so, how does one change the configuration so that vehicles can be brought onto new missions?

It is only specific missions that they can be brought into. I think you have to go into each mission with the editor and check a box for allowing vehicles. I'd recommend against it because although it may make more sense to be able to take your vehicle anywhere, sometimes the balance is shifted. Even in the missions with vehicles, I rarely use them to make it more of a challenge. The only time I used it was in St Louis and even then for only a few locations.

Dear JimmyJay-

I agree that the game would be too easy if one was playing with vehicles in each game.

I am playing a strong man game. No intra-battle saves, no "go back and replays" and no "do-overs", completely CTB. Under these circumstances I think the game is tilted towards the game and not the player. Previous CTB indicated that at the higher levels it was not that hard having your AFV shot out from under you. So this might be fun.
