Water Chip? Been There, Done That
Right, the other day I was on the Vault, and I realised there was a Veronica side quest, so I tried to trigger it, on most of the triggers, yet none of them triggered has anyone else got this sort of problem, it's getting really annoying, cos' everytime it gets to the ending slides and says something bad about me not trying to help her I feel dead inside.
 
I could be wrong about this, but I think all you have to do is go to the Brotherhood of Steel bunker in Hidden Valley and start the quest for them, and she will start her side-quest with you. Sometimes she will ask you to take her there, but it seems like that is not happening for you.
 
Yeah, I went to most of the triggers and thought it must be something like that, so when I go to Hidden Valley i'll drag her with me. Hopefully, this will change the problem.
 
***Possible spoilers for those who haven't completed Veronica's personal quest***

I've discovered quite a big glitch with her I Could Make You Care quest just last night:

Instead of taking her to significant places (Camp McCarran, Silver Rush, etc) for the quest to trigger, you can take her straight to the [spoiler:919f533787]Followers Outpost where you have the direct speech option of "This is Veronica, formerly of the BoS, she wants to join..."

And sure enough, wait until the next day and the hostile BoS members are there, you kill them, quest complete. Crazy. Afterwards, I took her to those trigger places and sure enough, she runs to me asking for my help as if the quest had never started. [/spoiler:919f533787]
 
Thanks for the help mate, cos the original advice of actually bringing her to hidden valley never actually helped.
