Wal-mart.com pre-order comes with two bonus packs?

I pre-ordered the collector's edition from Wal-mart.com, and when I opened the box I found my collector's edition box plus a slip of paper with a code for the caravan pack, as expected.

But then when I opened up the game itself (X360 version), the cd case inside contained another slip of paper with a code for the classic pack.

Did anyone else get two bonus codes? Is it safe for me to try to redeem both of them, or should I only redeem the one I prefer and give the other one away?
 
You could probably try both of them-- what's the worst that could happen?

If it doesn't work you can always give me the other code! 8-)

The worst that could happen, I think, would be if it lets you put in both codes but only makes use of one of them. That would be a waste of a code.

I would just try it and find out, but I'm unsure (in that worst case scenario) if it would keep the first one you put in, or the most recent. And I really like the caravan pack more than the classic pack (that was the whole reason I ordered from evil-mart). So I'm going to be a wuss and wait for someone else to try putting in multiple codes first.
 
Yeah my non-preordered copy from WalMart had the caravan pack code in it. So... I guess that's just being included in the WalMart packs? Maybe it's in their first shipment (which would then include the preorders), but won't be in subsequent shipments?
 
Can anyone confirm whether non-Walmart pre-orders have the caravan pack code in them? Like from Gamestop/Best Buy?

I can't answer your question, but wanted to clarify: The Wal-Mart pre-order that I got was supposed to have the caravan pack, and did. The "extra" that I got was the classic pack. This extra was inside the sealed CD-case, while the caravan pack code was loose in the box that my order came in.
 
Gamestop preorders only have the gamestop code, I've found. It seems to be a walmart problem only.

EDIT: Problem? More like opportunity! For double the preorder!

Indeed! I just got impatient and put in the second code. For SCIENCE!, of course. It gives you both sets of stuff. So now when I start a game I get the weathered 10mm, the shotgun, both sets of armor, the binoculars, the canteen, some stimpacks, and some weapon repair kits. Pretty sweet, although it feels a little bit like cheating. To compensate, I'll play in hardcore mode. :)
