Wasteland 2042

Look, Ma! Two Heads!
Hi

I have tried to find info in the forum about this mod, but I can't find it. Yes, I have had a hard childhood...

It's a mod for BF1942 and, as you can see:
While we have all seen Mad Max, the Postman, and Waterworld. We've all played Fallout, and Wasteland. As well as many other sources of Post Apoc goodness that some of you people may not even know about. We respect what they've brought to the community, we love them, but let's face it. They've already been done once. To try and do them again, or emulate them, would just be a crime. A crime to the good name of those trademarks, and a crime to the memories we all share and love about them. We simply could not do them justice.

Wasteland 2042, we hope will be something new, something fresh. Something unique, which we can call our own creation. While we all of course, are inspired by these things which have come before us, we are not solely centered around any specific one of them.

BF1942 is a team deathmatch shooter.

Regards

It's one of the many mods that splintered from the defunct Wasteland Half Life. Only a few (one) ever had a public beta release. And it sucked.

Eheh. Thenthetive, are we? :D

And no, I don't think we've covered this game.

NetDevil's Warmonger - Operation: Downtown Destruction is an apocalyptic FPS, built around the AGEIA PhysX processor, enabling unique, piece-by-piece destruction system and is designed to deliver stunning fluid and cloth-based effects unlike anything seen before.

Only a FPS...

I don't really see the point in making ultra-realistic FPS games, as most can sum up to "shoot everything that moves" anyway.

If I want a realistic FPS, I play to SWAT 3 or 4, I don't see the point in Aegia for exploding barrels or kick chairs. And... What's the price for a Aegia card?

The latest ones are. I can't remember the first one, but i know SWAT 2 was an rts. Three was the transition, and had some great multiplayer. I have fond memories of SWAT 3 online in 2001, first multiplayer game i truly got into, loved it. Haven't tried SWAT 4, is it anything like SWAT 3?
