Note my use of the phrase "fairly easily", I'm not saying it would pop like a balloon, just that they are vulnerable somewhat. I've never tried on Monster Truck tyres, but I remember, when I was ten or so, attacking a dumped tractor tyre with a metal pole (the sharpened ones with a loop at the other end that they sometimes tie police tape around) and peircing it several times.Kahgan said:meh, I've tried sticking stuff through old dumper wheels, not very easy, a crossbow fired at close range maybe, but no way anyone could stick a polearm or spear through themBig T said:or a heavy penetrating stabbing weapon, such as a spear or polearm.
Another thing: rubber deteriorates with age and certain adverse conditions, such as (I believe) extreme heat and dryness. The tyres, and the spares available, would not be in too great condition.they're high quality rubber reinforced with varius tingle-tangle. And quite often, monster truck wheels are old(or new for that matter) tracktor or dumper wheels...
