Weapon imbalance?

Antediluvian as Feck
On one of the RARE occasions I got to play the game more than five minutes before it crashed harder than a plastered bastard behind the wheel....

For mere civilians or dregs in the wasteland, they sure do have some impressive hardware. Why, when I encountered a group of radscorpions fighting some civilians right outside BOS Alpha Bunker, I then looked at one of their corpses. 'Lo and behold, there's a combat shotgun that looks like it belongs WAY into the game, and does devastating damage.

Nope:

Can't get TO the second mission.

Like many people, this game has proven to be a piece of shit. I've seen far more problems with it than those that like it or even could get it to work.

Not the problem:

The game is buggy as hell.

Some experience the problems at the start of the game after installing it, others experience them even as late as mission 17.

Too bad there aren't any damn lemon laws for software. I've a good mind to turn Interplay, with it's track-record of releasing buggy software, to the Better Business Bureau or the Consumer Protection Agency.

SOMETHING needs to be done, to show these companies that we are getting tired of their buggy Shovelware.

RE: Not the problem:

there really should be a law or something to protect us... I mean if someone sells me a buged car, I die...

with software it's even worse... my nerves go to shit... I would rather get killed right now that be a nervious problematic person in some 10 years...

it was really annoying running software with bugs... now when I notice few bugs, I just quit. much better... life is too tough for me anyway without these stupid errors...

anyway take a look at this... Last night tactics performed an illegal operation... so win2000 said it's creating a log file... it did that for 15 minutes, filling my 500megs remaining space... just had to restart :)
