I am still working on my Horror tc mods (see under dead frog), and I have been able to make new ammo (silver tipped) and weapons. I am having a problem with two of my custom weapons. It's a bit unusual, but I'm making mage type characters who use "spells" instead of guns. I believe I have made "flamjet" spell properly. I used a flamer, changed the inventory sprite to a rock (to sybolize a talisman), and changed the display (in the game) to unarmed. The intended effect is to have what looks like flame shooting from the character's hands. In a game, however, the picture works in the inventory, but when he equips it it shows as a heavy weapon. I cannot figure out what I missed. Is there something in a mp game that won't let you change the display sprites? Originally, I goofed and had the "flamejet" weapon under hvy weapons still, until I experimented and put them under Unarmed.
