I am still working on my Horror tc mods (see under dead frog), and I have been able to make new ammo (silver tipped) and weapons. I am having a problem with two of my custom weapons. It's a bit unusual, but I'm making mage type characters who use "spells" instead of guns. I believe I have made "flamjet" spell properly. I used a flamer, changed the inventory sprite to a rock (to sybolize a talisman), and changed the display (in the game) to unarmed. The intended effect is to have what looks like flame shooting from the character's hands. In a game, however, the picture works in the inventory, but when he equips it it shows as a heavy weapon. I cannot figure out what I missed. Is there something in a mp game that won't let you change the display sprites? Originally, I goofed and had the "flamejet" weapon under hvy weapons still, until I experimented and put them under Unarmed. im pretty sure there are two seperate sprites for things in the inventory, for when theyre sitting there, and when they are equipped or in being selected
 
Thanks, but I figured out my own dilemma with a little hard work. I think I have the Bosee program worked out now. The graphics displayed are defined by the Item type (if i recall) line, which shows the animation. I finally made "spells" for the Horror campaign. It's pretty cool; I have a "fireball" spell that is thrown like a grenade and uses the flamer animation. when the guy in the game activates it, it shows a burst emitting from his hand and the enemy catching fire. Same with "lightning bolt" I also created "silver ammo" for several guns and "healing spells" , my frined and I play the custom "Bureau 13" campaign. I can send the files to anyone who wants them. I also have a "vampire" and "garou" (werewolf) race made up but I need to chanege the anims for the vamp. So far-no luck.
 
Hmmm...both garou and vampire in the same game. Perhaps you're making somthing Whitewolf based ? If so, sounds cool. I can't wait to see how your finished mod turns out. I'm currently working on a fallout-like pen and pencil RPG. I'll be using a good bit of the Whitewolf system...maybe somewhat Aberrant based..allowing me to describe super mutants :) Good luck !
