It Wandered In From the Wastes
i am just wondering that we have some real good ideas here in FO3 & In the other forum (movie) but what will happen???I mean i think Interplay is just not interested in these ideas at all and i also think that we`ll be lucky if we see 5 (our) ideas out of 100

Interplay themselves don't do anything other than buy smaller companies and fund the ones they already have. They doesn't make the games, they manage the game makers and get rich off it. That's why Interplay would probably consider Fallout Online if it had the potential to net them a lot of money. Hell, they're considering Fallout the Movie with the director/script writer of the Academy Award Nominated (please note sarcasm) Mortal Kombat 2 movie. I can just see it, some Vault Dweller goes around with a big gun and kills off mutants with no storyline whatsoever.

i think you didnt understand my problem: i say that we have some ideas here which could be used either in the movie or (rather) FO3 and my question is that WILL be these used or Interplay (and the other companies) just dont pay any attention to these things or what i say is wrong?

Yes I've been wondering that myself... does Black Isle give the time of day to come to these boards and at least look for a couple good ideas from the true Fallout fans? By the way... If they make a Fallout online, it would make everything in Fallout go downhill and never ecover >_<!!!

I could tell you for a fact:

That J. Sawyer visits these boards, and so does Chris Taylor. Hendee used to, and way back when, I believe the F-man, Urquart did at one time.

They appear every now and then, particularly when you don't think they are looking.

RE: I could tell you for a fact:

Actually, BIS is part of Interplay. Interplay decided to give all their genre divisions names for some reason.

I have to agree with the movie thing, Mortal Kombat: Annihilation was just plain bad. It's rare to have a movie bad enough for Christopher Lambert to turn it down.

We played a bit of paddle ball with them in the figurative sense on the BOS board. I mean geez, you'd think they'd cover up their tracks a little..

[font color=silver face=comic sans ms] Well that movie may have been bad, but one bad script doesn't mean the writer has no writing abillities at all. I do have my doubts though...

"What could be better then a swan dive into the asphalt?"

Movies

Just short. When's the movie coming out. (the matrix videogame is coming out with the Matrix2 movie, so, could the next Fallout title be launched together with the Fallout movie? If that thing's gonna make it through.) Hell, the're even making (not IP, Squaresoft) a Final Fantasy movie, fully computer generated, budget: 70 million cold US dollars. So what's the Fallout movie budget?
