I have got some ideas for the story: (I´m not saying they are good ideas all of them)

1: What if China is going to attack USA and you must convince everybody to take protection in the voult again or be nuked. Then you´ve like have to rebuild all voults and stuff.

2:Or maybe you must protect your country against invason and in the end you meet the enemy in a last battle, and if you lose it´s game over

3: One part of the story could be that the leader of your people(or tribe or whatever)is kidnapped and you must find him/her. And from beginning you have no idea who did it. kinda detective work

4: Or there could be a secret terrorist group that you must destroy.(kinda like Fallout1)

5: An other part of the story could be that you have to free some people that have been taking hostage.(well you did it in Fallout2 but there could be a totally different situation)

Thats some ideas for the story in F3
what do you think of them good/bad/need a lot o work/sucks

would defeat the purpose of the game being "Fallout" really :) being in a screwed up world is the fun part of it

>2:Or maybe you must protect your

i'm australian & i don't wanna play a game where i protect the us (i care about the us as much as i care about china....) which is were fallout is based.
plus i think it's obvious there are a lot of russian players as well.
i haven't played fallout, but i did finish fallout 2 (favorite game) because altho it was based in the us, it wasn't based on saving the us, it was saving your tribe.

>3: One part of the story

it would be good if you could run a tribe (or found one later on).
altho a search for the leader of your tribe is a pretty good idea, it would take you to all sorts of interesting places.

>4: Or there could be a

that's basically what fallout 2 was about as well. the enclave were kind of secret.

>5: An other part of the

freeing people wouldn't be as fun, i think the main character should be a sort of "i live for myself & my tribe" sort of character.
