What a fuckin shit! Help me!

Well, here is the problem. I changed my HD for a better with 4,0 gb (my last was 3,0 gb and have many bad clusters). After this change, I can´t play, any game, and this includes Fallout!! I´m getting crazy!! When the pc try to process something with sound the game slow down and nothing works... i was watching the performance of my "new" HD, and I noticed that sometimes he just stop working with no reason, just stop, the mouse lock, nothing works, and some minutes passed, he back to work... its anoying!

Yeah, don't answer!! With my old hd full of bad blocks all games, all programs works very good and he never locked. I changed him because it broken down permanently!

What a Fucking hell is going on here?? Anyone know?? Anyone could help me solve this problem or I will have to kick my CPU :roll: ??
 
Clearly a malfunction of the drive itself - the mechanism that spins the disk may be old and worn causing it to stop sometimes. I had experienced this with a very old 300 MB IBM drive once. Or perhaps the new disk needs more power than your power supply can provide, causing the disk to go out. Try disconnecting unnecessary hardware like the CD-ROM drive and see if it helps.
 
But I don´t know if you undestanded, but he doens´t restart or turn off, he just lock down, and back to work normally. For example, i´m typing this then he locked, then he backed and i continued to type with no problem! He do a continuous anoying (not a mal funcion, just working) sound, and i see he is spining all the times. I know that because when I turn off the computer I can ear he spining down!! Maybe its the power... i will try disable something here like the Floopy Drive to try! but if anyone know anything more, fell free to post here!

That's what happened to the drive I mentioned - it'd pause the computer for a while, make some strange clicking sounds, and then resume. I think that physical wear and age is the culprit here. Sell this disk to some sucker and get a newer one ;)
