What about money?

I have a theoretical question.

As we all know, Barter prices of most items in game get modified by the barter skill, discounts and whatnot.
However, there are several items in game, that allways get exchanged at their face value - money. And not just bottlecups: NCR and Legion money, too.

Does someone know how it's done?
In GECK those items don't stand out from other misc items in any way.
 
They are in the "Misc Item" "Money" category in GECK. I think any items in that category do not get Barter dependent prices on vendors.
