What happened to OnTheBounce maps?

I've also been wondering the same since early 2007 man. Does anyone have the map that goes with the picture from the wasteland aircraft carrier?

Edit: Does anyone happen to have the remake of Arroyo from Fallout 2? It was a near perfect recreation where you started in the temple of trials.

He has a youtube account here. I thought I ran across a few of his maps somewhere on the web, though.

Thanks, VFSniper. I emailed him requesting some maps. Hopefully they will be available for sharing.

Hi guys.

Glad to see there's still some interest in FoT Modding. You're all welcome to use and abuse these maps to your heart's content.

Incidentally, I think there may be a couple more laying around somewhere. I'll have to poke around more on my old backup CDs, but I'm pretty sure there is a map based on Sierra Army Depot that I made -- because RfaSF used it for one of his missions -- so there's probably some others as well. If/when I find them I'll let you know so we can get them posted.

As ryuga mentioned, I've been modding again. Back in October I had a surgery to excise a tumor from my soft palette, and in November they went back in to cut more tissue out to make sure they'd gotten it all. The tumor was benign, but it's left me with a huge hole in the roof of my mouth that's taking quite some time to heal up. Since I've been more-or-less unable to work I've had plenty of time on my hands and a game of FO2 I was playing turned into inspiration for a FoT map.

Some time in the next couple of weeks I should release an updated/upgraded version of the OTB Demo from way-back-when. It will include the following:

1) The Refinery: an improved version of the original mission.

2) Tussle at the Temple: what really happened in Kansas City during FoT.

3) Dashing the Desperado: The Chosen One and her stalwart companions duke it out with the Mordino family in the streets of New Reno.

The last one is the one I'm currently working on. It's a recreation of the Virgin Street map from FO2, and everything is set up to mirror FO2 to the greatest extent possible. It may also include BINK video cutscenes.

There are a total of 8 missions in the OTB Demo these days, but the others are nowhere near completion, need massive overhauls, or I've just plain lost track of what needs to be done on them.

Well, I've got one last player index to add, some triggers, then I have to finish up the edges of the map and get the minimap image. Then DtD will be complete and I just have to finish up the speech file for TatT.

I'll be in touch.

Cheers,

OTB

Wow, that's good news...OTB I always thought you were maybe the best on mod making(Max-V prolly the fastest, but he never got perfectly what FO was about), good to see you back at it.

All the best with your health!

Attention OTB!

First off, wow. It looks like you've put more effort into your buildings than I have most of my maps.

Atm I'm going through your maps cherrypicking clips for use in my own maps, extending caves, etc. However, as it looks like I'll be using at least one of your buildings as a centerpiece of a map, or large chunks to provide a template, I'd like to be able to do more than just say "Oh, and btw, OTB made lots of this" in a readme file.

What I'd like to do is have a few "On the bounce" or "OTB" tiles (like, spray painted gang logos, a tribal thing, signs, similar stuff) and stick em on your buildings or bits of map that I've used.

Would anyone be able to create such a tile or supply one? That'd be fantastic. I'm afraid both my computers do not like the sprite editors I've seen posted and I'm pretty sure I'd mess it up if I did it myself.

I mean, OTB should retain control of his artistic imprint on my maps...

And thanks again for posting your maps up OTB, looking forward to any contributions you post. :)
