I was contacted by Mr. Lizard five months ago. In June he was definitely alive, doing usual lizardous stuff.

The Resurrection mod is almost finished. Those guys are focused on their work more than chatting on the forums or posting a fancy artwork and screenshots on their web page.
I submitted the news about this mod to NMA a week ago, but it looks like it didn't make through or was lost in the system or something.

x'il, it is not my site. I am on the project for less than a month now (EDIT: not any more). I am doing testing and weapons and critters balance. I am going to use some of the weapons you did as well

To make a long story short, I had met a gorgeous lizardous girl, which obviously sucked very soon; then I've fallen in love with true nature, before it's gone. Now I'm unemployed, completely out of money, forgotten and lost

Nope, I am not that far in the timeline (year 2196). Not going to tell the name yet-- will do it with the next bigger announcementshizzle some day in the future. I don't really want to talk much about it as long as I am not really close to a release. It just makes it look like vaporware. :>
What happened to Mr. Wolna? He was a pretty good contributor to the modding scene - I remember when someone messed around with his talking head, that really pissed him off...but still, it was good for a laugh.
He was going to jail for 9 months, last time we heard from him (march 2010). By now the 9 months are passed already. Dunno what happend.

We don't know that much. What I remember what he said was, that he has a longer list of violently assault and driving without papers and such. Then there was a day where he defended some other dude who was attacked by two (?) other people, but it must have looked as if he was one of the attackers. It ended with him getting picked up by the police and of course, he wasn't very trusthworthy with his crime list (closed entries and open entries - though, I don't think it was that much). This gave him the 9 month and some monetary penalty.
Keep in mind though, nobody from us knows how much truth is in there and what has happened before / after, etc. It's quite some time since then and he hasn't showed up anymore. Possible that he was send back to mother russia :> but I have my doubts about this.
To get back on topic: So... BGE is dead now or not? There wasn't a clear answer to that, imo.
