It Wandered In From the Wastes
that the average gamer age is 29, they don't want that kids stuff, they want an intense, depth filled story, great graphics, no kid stuff, etc etc..!!!

you have to have the right combination of action and role playing, if its like TOEE , than its too much combat , and too boring story line, if its gothic, well its almost balanced, but you can't just squeeze punk stuff/futuristic/apocolyptic elements , and hope for the best? can you??

deserves you right the your sales will go down and they will, just because of oyur lack of vision and your lack of trust in you fan public.

don't worry, dynamics is something that is hard to catch, so don't worry if you fall-its only natural.

also in this magazine.....

Where did you get this information?

I think inertplay does not know the basic skills of management. They cancel a project in 85% (Fallout 3) to create FOBOShit.

Ineptplay: Even though we know that we are in a financial crisis, we will ignore the people who we KNOW will give us money for Fallout 3. Instead, we have decided that selling a sub-par, name whoring game in untested market conditions is a better bet.

My god, a signature from another member here would easily explain the intelligence level of IPLAY.

Me smart. Elder say I have brain of child. Me got two brains. Me smart.

PS: God I love that signature and who says it. I am thinking it is from Tactics which I never played.

Dude... how could it be from tactics? only thing that excuses you is the fact that you never played tactics but hej... you have no dialog options there...

just try to play F2 with character with inteligence lesser than 4... and have fun :)

I remember seeing the Interplay logo the first time I played FO2 (I started with 2, then played FO1). It was something like: For gamers by gamers. What happened to that? When did in turn into By idiots for idiots?

I've been thinking about that too. Like that guy in the latest review says about getting all warm and fuzzy inside when seeing that logo. My God, back in the days, I'm sure it was more than just a marketing ploy.

"For gamers by gamers" my ass!

Honestly I never even tried to go through the game dumb. Hey, that gives me one more reason to play again lol.

Heck, the problem is that FOBOS was made for people with INT<4 :P

But one of my fave lines from FO2 is when you try to use a computer with a stupid character
"Ooh! Butunz!"

are u sure?

not too beliveable for me... average age? maybe 17 or 16

Well it might not be 29 but it's definately believable that it's reaching into the 20's. Good games have been around for the last 10-15 years so its feasible that there are a lot of 30+ gamers out there. That average gamer age is just going to increase with time.

Yup, it was from Fallout 2 with a low int character. I think it was from talking to someone outside Tandi's office in NCR, but I can't remember that well anymore, and I cropped off the rest of the original picture. But its only one of the classic lines w/ a "dumb" character. Try it, you won't be disappointed. Especially when you have to deal with computers... :)

You could see the decline, Fallout 1 great, Fallout 2 great but essentially the same story as Fallout 1, Fallout Tactics, not an RPG, FOBOShit-I don't even consider it a fallout game.

Fallout with an Int of 1 is also extremely funny. When you come in Shady Sands all you can say is: Wubba, Wub-wub, Hnng and Scorpin. I still reply to some of my friends with those... words... :P
