what is the code to add/take items from the car trunk?

I was wondering if anyone knows or knows where I can find the line(s) of code used to add or remove items from the car trunk. Is this hardcoded or is it found in some script file? I am working on something and I want a script to manipulate what is inside the trunk.

The trunk is a container like shelves and desks you find around, there is no script needed to open the inventory contents, its all done by the engine.

Adding or removing items to a container via a script is possible, as is checking if its carrying a particular item PID.
