What path would you take if FO games were for real?

Still Mildly Glowing
What scenario would you choose to follow if what happens in the Fallout games was to happen in real life.
What realistic path would you take?
What would be your best option if you had to think clearly and not want to be a hero or the mass murderer (extremists one of course) you can be in the actual games.

For example, in Fallout 1 I'd join the Master right away. Simply because I would consider it to be the unstoppable force of the wasteland. Green skin, endurance, immortality and strength would fit me best as well. :)
FO2 - A hard choice to make, I'd probably get into Vault City using the old V13 suit and then get the citizenship by helping those ghouls. Live there from that point onward.
Fo3 - Facepalm myself when I get out of Vault 101. I'd make an opinion about the surrounding world after visiting Megaton, don't give a fuck about daddy, kill the super market raiders, convince that child to follow me and just wander into the city ruins or something. Stupid game anyway.

New Vegas - Now, I haven't played NV on all sides but neither did I play FO2 that way. But since the events of NV I would really look for revenge. Befriend those powder gangers for sure, really liked them, hang around that prison for some time, try to take some of them to follow me and blend in with the rest of the people, no NCRCF outfits. After that I'd continue my journey until I'd find Benny and kill him. After that I'd be pretty pissed at Las Vegas and what it's inhabitants brought down on me. Accept Vulpes invitation and bring myself and my fellow powdergangers, assuming I managed to keep them alive, to Caesar. I'd destroy that bunker below the ground since I'm intending to weaken the strip. Then i'd generally do anything to help the legion, not because I'd like them or anything, just wanna bring chaos into everything. Leave everything burning and/or under Caesar and wander somewhere north.

But if I wouldn't be so vengeful I'd probably help Ringo and then find the Crimson Caravan and make a decent living, remaining unbiased by any war between any major faction and just put everything behind me.

I'm still undecided on New Vegas.
And while what I said about my NV choices might be a little...far from the realistic choice I need to mention that the path might change if I get to play the game more or read more stuff on wiki.

Post your own ideas.

FO2 - I'd stay in Arroyo and become Hakunins Garden Assistant. Leading a quiet life full of wasteland-weed, hoping that some courageous Chosen One would emerge and save my village :)

Id protect the ones closest to me and say FUU to the rest of the tribe/vault.

Then we'd be ambushed by raiders and killed/raped.

Black Feather,

Not afraid of the Enclave?

I'd maybe live with the Tanker Vagrants, if I could make it to San Fran. If not Vault City seems viable or even live out my years in Modoc fucking Miria's brains out every day, eventually assassinating Davin and taking over the Brahmin ranch when the old man kicks it.

Yup, then kill Miria, and find a better wife.

Join the Brotherhood of Steel, show my skill and eventually make it to Paladin, and spend the rest of my days scouring the Wastes in search of any and all technology safe within my Power Armor.

I'd happily settle down as a caravan guard living in the Hub or at the Boneyard. Or in FO2, go to Broken Hills and hang out with the Ghouls and Mutants at the bar, trying to break up the bouts of racial tension through high speech skill.

I only wish that FNV let you work as a caravan guard, walking from city to city. It'd take a while but I'd love it.

EDIT: Sorry about the triple post, don't know what happened there

I'd screw my village, so I can live alone like a hermit in the wastes, then get a hold of dogs to mate them and breed a canine army.

Or I might join the Enclave and live in my guard post the rest of my days.

How do you join the Enclave? :)

And yeah, joining caravans seems like the "normal" way of living in the wasteland.

I'm guessing you would have to be "pure" and from a Vault. Which is what I understand the reason to be as to why you're not actually (hanging out in Navarro with your APA doesn't count) allowed to join the Enclave in Fallout 2, because you're part of the "mutated stock".

They used the pure stock humans from Vault 13 as test subjects. I woudnot join Stalin like Master in Fo1 so joining the nazis in F02 is out of question. In first BoS is the best bet; Becoming Vault city guard captain in F02 was neat this way you have all adventures you can stomache, good base of operations and backing of quite powerfull fraction (you can get Redding and Gecko join VC)
Frankly staying in vault and banging Amata in F03 is best way.

Fallout 1: Join the Gun Runners because wearing combat armour and making guns all day is a good way to pass the post apocalyptic time.

Fallout 2: Probably be part of the NCR. Nice security and a relatively small chance of death. A bit boring I suppose.

Fallout 3: Steal the boat all the foreign people in the game came on and travel to Britain because there is no tea in post apocalyptic America. Oh and also make the world a better place by killing Moira, Three Dog and some middle aged douchebag who was running around.

The Mid-Western BoS? It's hard to join the Brotherhood in California, if not impossible.

Not as long as you have some RadX or RadAway 8-)
they let extraordinary individuals, or people who help the cause of the BoS... I'd do it in FO1's timeline, back when they were the most powerful force in the wastes (barring the Unity of course)

It's the moustache

It's the bit of testoterone which make southern women folk more adventerous in bed. Besides being son-in-law to overseer beats chasing some midleaged schmuck across the boring wastland.
