Ok. im in carson city. im protecting the ghouls and smoking the mutants. i kill all the mutants, i complete all my objectives, yet, i still cant end the mission. whats up with that. i need someone whos pretty far in the game to help me out wit this.

P.S. could we stop posting the FOT hate mail here? this is suppose to be a forum for helping people with difficult missions. im sure you can find another forum to post about how much FOT sucks.

Might be a end of mission bug that some people have been experiencing, where the mission won't end right. Hopefully someone can give you a fix, or you might want to try beating it again.

Well, it IS discussion about Fallout Tactics. Admittedly, this game is slightly comparable to Dick-a-tonna (Daikatana), but only in the sense that it pretends to be something that it fails to achieve. People that are less-than-impressed are the ones that have played real, quality tactical games like X-Com and JA2, and then come to this. It's like playing Quake II, Quake III, and Unreal Tournament - then playing the likes of Daikatana. It's regressing, and not for nostalgia's sake.

You have to kill 4 mutant commanders, if I'm not mistaken, and waste the attack waves at South gate. IIRC the PIPBoy will give you the approximate locations of mutant commanders.

As for hate mail... Honestly, less emotions please. The typical reply to "I like FOT and I can't see what's wrong with it" is
"What the fuck is wrong with you, retard?! If you had brains and eyes you would fucking read what we posted here you motherfucker." Yes, Roshambo, I'm referring to you. i killed all the mutants on the map. ive completed all of my objectives. in the brief it says to wait for some squad to come take the nuke. ive been waiting but nothing happens.

Get a grip. Nowhere did I flame like that unless the punch was thrown first, and then it was over stuff like people mouth-stuffing (as you just did) and building up straw men. I also resent how you depict how I confront someone's argument and/or the game in a rather exaggerated ad hominem manner.

I think starting the thread with "What the Fuck?" is the beginning of the problem...
But I say it's a bug - out of 6 missions, 3 were unclear what I was suppose to do, 2 didn't give me mission updates for the side quests and one I left half finished...

Goes to show how great the game is and how quickly it was rushed out. In industry we call these... "Reducing the Testing timeframe to get Fargo of my butt"

Isn't Roshambo the game we used to play to see who would get to ride shotgun? Err... wait a minute, was this thread about a game or about a guy?

I do not really post here anymore cause it is so hard to keep up now a days..... so much volume....I just cone here to get a kick from Roshambo taking the FO:T game apart at the roots...LOL....
I am glad that he does because it gives me a sense of it and the things that I myself would be looking for in it... and are apparently missing. I have not bought it yet and will probably wait untill the complete patch comes out and I see if it fixes all of the problems people talk about. I know there is a lot of nostalgia about FO2 but fact is that they screwed that one up royally by rushing it as well... good game but it could have been infinitally better.

More than once I read some moron's post and was all ready to let him have it only to read Roshamo's response in the next post saying pretty much what I was about to. People must understand that sequels such as this are judged on what they set out to accomplish(a Fallout feel and story, and a Tctics game) and not whether it is a decent game by itself. If I wanted a decent game on its own then there are hundres of them out in all flavors. But what I am looking for here is specifically a Fallout game, and I look whether or not they achieved that.

Thing is that I agree with most of what he says and some of those idiots deserve what they get.... and it can be healthy to release anger in a non destructive way....(remebber method_man and his crusade to convince people that Arcanum.... well you remember... if not then check it out because it has been archived... entertaining stuff)

i was one of the people who kind of started the fight. i just thought it was annoying: I come in here to get help on the game and all i see are game bashing posts. I didnt mind a few of them but some people kept posting the same shit over and over (stuka)
