I hate the fact that enemies don't attack your NPCS if they don't see _You_... I mean, sometimes you could go into a random battle and be behind Cassidy or something and the enemies wouldn't attack til you peeked your widdle head out. And I mean, Damn... In the Mutant Base in Fallout 1 I would be behind a wall or something while Ian and Tycho were walking around in front of Mutants and everything and they wouldn't attack them! It just kills at the realism if you ask me. They should take care of this in Fallout 3.

One little thing I think would be cool, if only serving the purpose of amusement... Is to be able to talk to your party members and tell them to go kill a specific person in a town or the near vicinity of you or whatever... I just think It'd be funny as hell to tell Myron to go kill all the mordino's for you :-D
"hey Myron [wheeze, sweat streaming down his face] I want you..to.... go take care of....the...mordino's for me."
I'd feel all like a crime boss or something.

Ain't it the truth! I think that we are about due for this kind of realism in a FO game. Don't get me wrong, although the AI had it's problems, among others in the game, I loved the original. I also liked the expansiveness to FO2, although it had it's share of bugs, the general way the map played out was too linear (Crescent path from Arroyo to Navarro and then on to the rig after some meandering was the general path most people I know followed, which is too sequencial for my tastes), and the ending was a farce. This, of course, was because the game was rushed to give us foaming at the mouth fans more of the good stuff. Since the Boys (and girls ;-))at Black Aisle are obviously taking their time with this one, I think we can expect most of the good and none of the bad from the first two, if it can be helped. If given the proper love and nurturing, the AI in FO3 should be able to produce a level of realism unparalled in the former titles in the series, and perhaps surpassing that of any rpg out there.
