When does Power Armor become available to buy in San Fran?

Hi, haven't posted in a long time, playing F2 again and as always using Per's indomitable guide as I go. I've been playing game time for more than a year and still no power armor has spawned in San Fran. It (guide) says that armor will be available, but when/how likely per restock? Search function didn't reveal any pertinent topics, but maybe I didn't search well enough.

i was far was i know it is always there or maybe you to be on a certain level for the power armor "spawn" at the shop

when i get to san fran i normally at level 18 and have done all quest from other towns

Looking at the mapper scripts, the gun merchant has a 30% chance of restocking them and the general merchant has a 60% chance of restocking them. Maybe you've just been unlucky.

Exceptionally unlucky, it seems. I must have checked after dozens of restock periods. Sheesh. Thanks, Per.

Have you been checking both of each merchant's tables? Power armor only appears in one of them, and I'm not sure which they show you in dialogue.

Embarrasingly, I discovered before you posted that that is precisely correct. There are only a few merchants in the game that have a second stock that you access ONLY by clicking on the appropriate container, and I always forget about it. Gah.

Buster in the NCR has 3 stocks. This threw me for a while my first few playthroughs too... I was sorts like "WTF, why does this guy have an inventory of sticks and rocks!"
