Where did everybody go?

i have just spent the evening with what's his name's wife in new remo, and my NPC's Sulik and Vic have dissapeared.
yet when i visit NCR all the cops are telling me to put my weapons (that i am not carrying) away.
any help in getting my NPC's back would be appreciated.

That's a stupid bug, I had it as well, just go upstairs with her again, and when you go downstairs, your NPCs will have reappeared.
