lets do some explaining first:
back when i played DnD, i found roleplaying kinda difficult, because the fantasy setting didnt really fit with my readings and tastes in general. Xept for Tolkien, i'm not really into "fantasy". So my elven thieves or whatever characters tended to fail pretty quickly.
One of the things i love about fallout, is that the setting and the writing fits nicely with many different kinds of literature, sci fi, postapocalyptic, beat, noir, political satire, stuff i've loved and read for years.
and so i'm proudly able to roleplay characters inspired by works from Bukowski to Douglas Adams.
right now i'm roleplaying an addict named Chinaski
so where do you guys and girls get your ideas in character design and roleplay?
i'd like to hear some ideas, while making up my next character...
