Where is the first place to get energy weapon?

Where ? is it possble to get in some speical encounter or so? or what is the VERY FIRST mission you canget it?
 
You can steal laser pistols from the scribes in the very first bunker in the game. Otherwise you will have to wait until (i think) Kansas City to get your first laser pistol.

Hmm, all they had was 23 cells and 3 superstimpacks =) maybe the lasergun was in some verion befor 1.25
 
I only found laser pistols in the first bunker and only 2 of them. By the time I got my Energy skill up there where much better weapons to use so I've never actually fired them....

I got my first laser rifle & plasma rifle at Junction City - those reavers carry some heavy duty hardwar.
