White screen after install (MAC)

Hi everyone.
Spent ages scowering the net for answers but no luck, maybe here...

just installed fo2 on my macbook, and am greeted with this beauty of a screen

any ideas?

found it.
latest mac update removes drivers for 250 colours applications.

found like posted on some forum, but lost the site after installation restart.

I don't know enough about Macs to know what was just said, but if you describe the problem and solution in terms that a giant crab could understand I'll add it to the FAQ.

As of 10.5.3, the Mac OS no longer supports 256-color (8-bit) display modes. A possible workaround is to run the Windows version using Parallels or Wine. I can't test that myself, so it needs confirmation.
