who would play mods if made by Brian Fargo for Fallout3 or NV?

Soapstone

It Wandered In From the Wastes
i just sent a tweet to him on twitter asking him if he ever did any or considered doing any. i know i would most definitely play it if he did a DLC mod for both games.

i mean even if he wasnt involved in making the game, i dont see why he cant make some awesome dlc content quests with the GECK tools.

i know i would totally play them.

I would play more or less anything Brian Fargo made, be it a mod or a game, but I have to imagine he's too busy managing a game studio to put a lot of time and effort into modding.

i know this is true, but it would be cool if he ever did do some dlc mods for fallout 3 and new vegas, i bet if he did an expansive dlc quest it would be a TON of fun!

i havent ever played the original wasteland, and dont know if i should get wasteland 2 not knowing anything about the first game, is there any lore like fallout has? or would it be fine to jump into wasteland 2 blind? i would definiteky play it as it is a Brian Fargo game.

Yeah, because Wasteland was so primitive you probably don't need the first game. There wasn't much lore there. However, it still remains one of my most favorite games.

Remember, when playing Wasteland 2, don't get the song of the Salvation Church stuck in your head!

Finally, I would play it if it was lore accurate. Even though Fallout 3 is non-canon, that doesn't mean its engine can't be put to good use! I mean, look at New Vegas! Personally, I'm excitedly awaiting the Project Brazil mod.

I didn't play wasteland 2 much, but a lot of what happened in wasteland was explained through interactions with people in the game. You might be confused at times, but you won't lose much if you haven't played the original, in terms of story at least.

Thanks, but no thanks. Haven't played F3, tried FNV on my nephew's PC out of curiosity, and that's it! This clunky and frenetic gameplay is not for me, I'm back at Fallout 1.5 Resurrection and other mods at this moment, waiting for Mutants Rising eagerly.
