Will Fallout Collection work on Windows Vista

First time out of the vault
I would really like to purchase the Fallout Collection on Amazon, however I have windows Vista on my computer and I was wondering if this would work on vista? I would really like to know this before I purchase it.

Also on another, in the fallout collection does it include just the 3 games and nothing else? I thought I read somewhere it also included a table top RPG with it.

Fallout 1 and 2 work fine, with some color issues every so often. I don't know about Tactics, or if there's something weird about the collection different from the original releases.

I don't think there is any major difference between the original games and the ones in the collection. The only issue unique to it (Assuming you are talking about the White Label collection) is the lack of music in Fallout 2, which can be fixed easily (Go here to see how. Last post).

As for Vista compatibility, both F1 and F2 tend to crash occasionally on my computer. This is not that much of a problem as long as you save often (a golden rule when playing Fallout). Also, Fallout 1 suffers from the "blackout" problem in both Vista and XP, but that's annoying at worst. Tactics works like a charm in Vista (although I haven't played it much.)

EDIT: Oh yeah. And like Stag says, both games tend to get their colours screwed up. This doesn't always happen so you can exit and restart until they become good again. This is the reason I prefer to play them in XP.
