Will this affect my entire saved game?!??!?! fallout 1 **SPOLIERS***

Well look I am in the old military base and dogmeat keeps dying on the forcefields so i downloaded a patch, The game crashs everytime i load a save now, I have another PC, If i download data to a game dec in this computer will it pass to my other computer?? I worked hard on this fallout save and i heard the community here is friendly thank you for answering cheers

Canonically, Dogmeat does get burned up by a forcefield at Mariposa Military Base.

What patch did you install? Sounds like you just need to reinstall the game. Your saved games shouldn't go anywhere.
