Windows XP and BOS problems

How many of you use XP while playing BOS? I encountered a weird problem when I tried to play BOS in XP. The sounds just won´t work. No sounds whatsoever. Total silence. (Otherwise fine, though) And the weirdest thing is that the demo works 100% well in XP. So, please, post any suggestions/similar problems here.

And one other thing. I´m not using 3d sound. (I know that´s sometimes a problem in XP)

I installed it on my xp computer with few problems ( it does crash an awful lot) but i've never had a problem with the sound. Do other games have any sound problems? You might want to check out the audio settings on the BOS options menu as well ( if you haven't done this already)
 
I also play FoT under Xp, but my problem is the opposite...the longer I play the louder becomes the sound
 
I'm running XP and cant play the game at all due to there being NO dialouge whatsoever, no message windows or anything. But the same problem happened on a 98 machine so I don't know what I should do, already posted in the fallout tech forum
