would someone be willing to...... (unable to play endings slide or continue)

First time out of the vault
I wonder if someone would be willing to take my save and post the endings on Youtube? I am a diehard fallout fan since 1997....especially of the first two..loved New Vegas also.
I am at wits end...I have tried reinstalling the game along with the latest version 2.3.3 of Killaps Restoration patch that I have been using with my play through...I get all the way to watching the tanker sail away with the explosions in the background then the cut scene loops one more time and takes me to the start game screen...can not continue my adventure.
I have snooped around for a solution...I do not have a sound acceleration option in dxdiag. Not too sure where to go from here. I am on Widows 7, ATI 5850 Vid card, i7 processor.6 gigsddr 3 ram..tried cutting back to 800x600 resolution but no dice.
Its not the end of the world....I got 99.999 of the game finished but would love to see the ending slide show.
Thanks in advance for any help!

You mean load your save, and record the end slideshow for you to watch?

Upload your save. You should be able to attach it to your forum post from the advanced editor; (if not, then dropbox will work).

saved zip

OK I'll give it a shot. I put the single save in slot 81 but looking in the folder there are about 30 or 40 files in that save folder. Do I need to include all those files? I sent the bunch...hopefully.
Horrigon just needs the turrets turned against him and he dies pretty easy.
Hope it works and thanks!

When extracted into the Fallout 2\data\SAVEGAME folder, alongside the other saves [1-5], this save doesn't show up as present in the game. I copied it into the folder twice; once as SLOT81, and again as SLOT06. I don't see it in the game, so that leads me to think that we have different patch versions of Fallout 2 ~and mods.

What else have you installed? (And what's your FO2 version?)

I don't have a serious game in progress, and don't mind a full reinstall with new patches.

Thankyou so much for the response. The version of the game I have is from GoG with the Killaps latest Restoration patch patch (2.3.3).

Looking at the game version from the start new game screen....
FaLLOUT II 1.02.31 RP2.33 SFALL 3.3 or 3.3a its a bit blurry. (I think SFALL 3.3 is included with Killaps Restoration Project but not sure)

Within Killaps Restoration Project options I chose Casidy talking head, the first ammo mod listed......I can go back and look by reinstalling the mod incase I forgot an option I chose.

Slot 81 refers to the save slot (killaps mod has about 100 slots available and I wanted to do make this save without an overwrite.
I named the save "movie please"..an homage to how many times I killed Horrigan to try and get it to work lol!

I checked both slot 6 and slot 81; and I actually did see the "movie please", but only when looking at the save.dat file in an editor. I will reinstall and update with Killap's restoration patch. But that will be sometime tomorrow; it's 2:30AM here, time for sleep. If I can get it to load, then I should be able to upload an AVI/Mpeg to Dropbox once I have it.

LOL Burning the midnight oil,,here also...1:30AM in California.
BUT I have great news!!!!!
I got the slide show ending to play! I "think" what did it was exiting to the helipad instead of the stairs (which are right next to eachother)...which makes sense partly. Exiting to the stairs would theoretically take me below decks....strangely the game ends there with the cut scene of the ship with the Oil rig in the background exploding. Upon exiting to the helipad I thought oh great here we go again...watched the cutscene of the ship sailing away, the oil rig exploding and then holly crap! I Jumped up in my chair...the endings were playing...turned up the volume and listened to my endings!
Thanks again...very very much for your help, time and passion for this oldy but goody! I really appreciate it.

As a quick side note...now that I am on the helipad I can not return below deck should I decide I want to continue playing. The game played the cutscene of the ship again then quickly flashed to me standing bellow deck and then cuts to the begin game screen. No biggy though..I am satisfied to have finished.
I wonder if all this are the result of a bug or two in Killaps latest patch....may be something he'd want to look into if he's interested.

Another edit...apparently I was not exiting the correct door and still triggering the cut scene...exiting the correct door behind Horrigon made it all good..able to see the endings and continue playing.
