Yes I did try that. But google is not always the best way to find good sites, and in my case I didn't see any as fitting my criteria. (kinda like the second thing you said). Thats why I am asking here, don't use it as a crappy excuse for sanctimony. Automatically assuming the worst in responses makes you seem ignorant/antagonistic. End of discussion.

Try to check http://www.projectxenocide.com/ every now an then, they are making a nearly 100% accurate remake of x-com:ufo defense, remember that its going to take sometime before they finish it.
