I'm thinking that John Kerry is the lock for the Democrat nominee... I mean, Dubya dodged the draft, and Kerry served in Vietnam AND saved someone's life. I'd love to see Karl Rove spin that away...
 
Kerry can't beat Bush.

I'm putting my support with Edwards, because he has a realistic chance of beating out Bush (which is the most important thing right now). I also think he would make a great leader. He reminds me of Bill Clinton, minus the scandal.

Wesley Clark could beat Bush, but I don't like Generals in office. They tend to see things in black and white, and you can't do that as the President.
 
I'm beginning to lean Edwards's way too. I would like to see Clark take a position in the administration though, like SecDef.

VP should be Al Sharpton, IMO. Seriously.

Heh. I can't imagine why. Stossel made him look like a complete ass on 20/20 tonight. I think Sharpton has a very tenuous grip on reality.

That would be political suicide. Listening to Sharpton speak, I don't get any vibe from him that would encourage me to trust him as a potential President should the President be unable to finish his term.
