First time out of the vault
Installed the full game, and while playing the game crashes
when I talk to certain people such as (The guy at the Brotherhood
of Steel, the guy in Shady Sands) while others work like (the Vault
Oversee'er and Tandi) when it crashes to desktop it says

"The instruction at 004d20e1, referenced memory at
0000400c, The memory could not be read from
Press ok to terminate the application"

It says this even after ive updated and I have reinstalled
(This also happenes with or without the cd)

So does anyone have any ideas, itd be great if I could get this
fixed up, Thanks :D
 
its XP ive tried doing the shortcut thing then setting the compatability to 95, 98/ME

What I just dont get is why some faces work and some dont?
 
Try to play it with the same CD in another computer (that doesn't uses XP) to see if this still happens, this will clear you if the problem is the cd. I don't know if the compatibility you made makes the game run right. But if you are running from XP don't expect any old game to run well (some run w/problems and others don't run at all).
That's all I can think of for now.
 
Another netnewbie thread is toast. Seriously, I wonder if people actually read the forums before they post. Else they might have some clue about all the other morons who have done the same thing, not to mention the rules that they broke and posted despite not having read the FAQ or other stickies.

Rosh is done with it. Rosh apparently needs to make a more livid example to get across to the more careless and rude of the net trash.
