Gunslinger
Mildly Dipped

I've got two so far and they're all from Hommlet (mind you, I haven't gotten that far yet):
Elmo: Despite being a drunk, I've generally had good experiences with this lovable lout. If you're low on muscle early on, recruit this fellow for the paltry sum of 200 gold coins. It says he takes half a share of the loot but I don't really see him take such a big cut. "Give him some chainmail and a big axe" and you've got a decent fighter early on.
Spugnoir: Really, only the most practical choice if you're looking for a mage to balance out your party. Strangely enough, he was doing the most considerable damage early on the game. Only issue I have against him is his steep price (every magic scroll, ouch) and, being a NPC, you can't have him memorize some spell scrolls.
These are my favorites so far in Hommlet. Rufus and Burne beat both these fellows in their magic and fighting skills hands down but I don't like them because of their steep prices.
