Grave Whispers

I'm just wondering if anyone has noticed the grave whispers in this game and what do they say?

I've only just noticed them (which just makes the game 100% creepier).
I've also heard Vault 11 has something similar

I've always read about them on the wiki but I've never heard them myself. Don't think I want to tbh. Shit like that gives me the creeps big time.

It does for me too, so I tried it out and I heard it. From what I've read, some of them say 'You should join us'.

I personally love it when games do shit like that, it's why I like those monster things in half life 2 so much.

I like it when games do that but at the same time it makes me really uncomfortable. I always have this (pretty irrational) fear that the game is suddenly gonna start fucking with me. Games addressing me, the player, used to really skeeve me out. Garry's Mod also made me uncomfortable because of how quiet it could be, all it'd take is one sneaky little cunt sneaking in some kinda jump scare that'd randomly trigger.

Only ones I have ever noticed is in the goodsprings cemetary...no idea what they say though, Im in the middle of a replay so will check out vault 11.

I think the Vault 11 voices are actually a part of the soundtrack. Vault 22 has the same thing, I know that in Vault 22 the main voice is saying something like"the reports examine the evolution of nuclear arsenals and the socio-psychological problems of the arms race" in Russian.

That sample is also heard at the beginning of Depeche Mode's To Have and To Hold.

No idea what the voice in Vault 11's music is saying though.

Heard them in Goodsprings, but after I read about them. First time I didn't pay enough attention.
I had thought that they would creep me out big time, but it turned out to be nothing special. Just some whispers that fit into the ambient.

Cool addition though. I imagine they would be something if I had noticed them on my own.

In the Goodsprings Cementery, there is also the (presumably unused) Water tower. If you meet the pre-requisites to hear the whispers (0 music, 0 AM), there are also metallic screeches, and some... faster sounds. Creepy AF
There are also voices in the Mettalic Monks track from Fo1and NV.

These kind of scary easter eggs are a dying race nowadays, as it's easier to just pull out a jumpscare :(

Doomsday, if you turn this thread political, you're getting gangbanged by the order in the next season of NMS.

I've heard them but never could make out the words. Sounds very reminiscent of morrowinds ancestral tomb whispers. Though I have this feeling i've heard it in Kotor 2 as well at some point in the game.
