Hey all! I've been testing Fallout 1 (MS-DOS .exe) running into a Raspberry Pi3 throught DOSBox. Music is playing, SFX, it's a bit slow for walking but I intend to check different forks afterwards.

There's a Fallout2 MOD that converts Fallout 2 into Fallout 1. What it seems to be is someone has adapted scripts in a way FO2 would run it. How hard would be to move FO2 to run on FO1 MS-DOS .exe?

Very hard to impossible. Fo1 has a fixed number of locations and other hard limitations that don't exist in Fo2.

Please just stop the whole conversion idea.. there are other much simpler ways to play Fo2 on raspbery pi.
Some Russians created software called ExaGear an ARM<=>x86 binary translator merged together with wine. it turns your arm or other supported devices (has a few of them on their web page) into a full blown PC, with 80% of calculating power of original device because of binary translation. (dosbox full PC emulation coughs about 10-20% of efficiency of original device - hence the slow Fo running in the dosbox).

Exa gear is way faster because it doesn't emulate anything like dosbox does. ExaGear converts x86 code generated by Fo2 into arm ( or other for wich Exa gear was made for) code so that your device's cpu could proces the code through and then exa gear converts the code back to x86 so that the game could read the processed data.

The thing that Exa Gear does is not exactly rocket science eigther Steve Jobbs's company made something similar for their FX powerPC processors so that 500MHz power pc CPU could run windows like a 200MHz x86 cpu (wich was a pinnacle of the technology at that time) (around '90 at previous century).

I won't put any links out of my sleeve, so try to google "ExaGear" or "Eltechs" and it should get you to the right spot. It ain't freeware though, and the license is attached to the device you install it on so new device= new license. But if You really bent on playing PC games on Your calculator-like device i guess it's worth it ( besides beeing the only reasonable solution).
