The newest update for Fallout 76 concludes the BoS storyline. With that out of the way I guess we're waiting for the Pitt next, as was teased earlier this summer.

  • Steel Reign: The Brotherhood of Steel storyline concludes with Steel Reign, bringing you all new quests, locations, rewards and more!
  • Legendary Crafting: Upgrade your Weapons, Armor and Power Armor with Legendary Crafting.
  • Season 5: K.D. Inkwell returns in “K.D. Inkwell and Escape from the 42nd Century”, a brand-new Season starting today.
  • Wallet Upgrades: We’ve increased the max amount of Caps, Gold Bullion and Scrip a player can hold, as well as some of the daily vendor limits.
  • Minerva: A brand-new Gold Bullion Vendor has come to town, offering discounts in two new events; Minerva’s Emporium and Minerva’s Big Sale!

Fallout 76 is still predatory with its macrotransaction system and monthly fee to properly play the game. Don't play it.

Also, they monetized camp slots and loadouts because of course they would.

Think I just had a Nam flash back to the retarded BOS story in that game were the one guy wants to start a civil war because the commander wanted to talk to the locals and the commander reaffirms her stupidity by blowing up their radio to west coast for....reasons.

BATTLE BROTHAS
THE CODEX ASTARTES CALLS THIS MANOVEUR THE STEEL REHN

If any of you bought this you are part of the problem.

Are they still running that thing where you pay 100 dollars a year for shit that doesn't even work?

If that is Fallout First yeah it is still for sale I think.

It's a game that asks for money upfront (it doesn't fucking matter the price), then has microtransactions, and then has an annual 100 bucks premium for conveniences that clearly were only made because the game was made to be as obnoxious as possible to entice people into paying for that premium.

This game is just disgusting. I mean, i expected the worse (and in a lot of ways it delivered), but did anyone seriously expected Bethesda to make a worthwhile Fallout game out of an online always game? They can't do single player Fallout games, what made them think they can do an online only one?

There is absolutely not a game on the planet that I would consider spending 100 dollars on it a year on top of buying price to be worth it. I just don't know how anyone can justify that spending unless they have so much money they don't know what to do with it.

Pretty sure they are because gotta squeeze more money from the whales.
Fuck not working, that thing actively worked against you and ate the items you put into it. AND people still bought it because they were in abusive relationship with Bethesda. But still people need that Infinite Supply cache for their doll houses because the amount of shit you need is astronomical and the weight of items is fucking bonkers. the game launched with a single bobby pin weighing something like a 1 pound because apparently they are forged in the heart of a Neutron Star.

Holy shit, I knew that F76 was just some shitty and abusive cash-grab skinner box with loads of bullshit in it... but they even cap the player's main resources on top of it? I haven't seem shit like this even in some of the free-to-play grindfests I have played in the past. One has to wonder if the reason Bethesda has been progressively dumbing-down their games since Morrowind was to collectively lower our IQs enough that a sufficiently stupid playerbase would exist to actually buy and play manure of this magnitude.

I think you could only carry between 20-25k caps at a time. then they had the gold vouchers where you can only hold so many so you had to keep grinding them when you bought something and you can only get a handful a day.

I was told by a 76 player that the Join the Super Mutants ending in FO1 didn't count as an ending becaise game over screens have voice overs. 76 fans are so weird.

The more I learn about this game the more I realize the hate it received was less than what it deserved.

If this was some free 2 play thing I would get weight limits and cap limits and all of that, it would still be shitty and predatory game design but at least it would make sense, but this thing was a full price game, has micro transactions and an annual service scheme on top of that. How can people tolerate this?

Don't you know? It's fun with friends!

Also it has one of the nicest communities in an online game.

Those were the reasons people gave me a while ago.

I will never understand online games, of course any online game will be fun with friends... And there is probably tons of much better games than FO76 to goof around with your friends. Although the nice community is something that is indeed rare in online games.
