    Well I'm happy to offer advise but how exactly do you mean applying it to real life? Aside from scavenging abandoned houses and killing ghouls if they've gone feral.

    I always wanted to do a "Philosophy of Fallout" book.

    Applying a retro futuristic concept into real life is unique, but you need to explain that genre of fiction for starts. Compare it to a popular movie for reference point. Talk about nuclear proliferation, racism with ghouls and mutants, and what people do to survive. Speak on pre-war and post war. I would use something different if you aren't familiar with fallout thoroughly.
