@Lexx When you have a minute, could you review https://github.com/fallout2-ce/fallout2-ce/discussions/136#discussioncomment-13254444 to see if I was able to extract the majority of the sfall dependencies for Fo1in2, and if there are any identified that aren't actually needed to get the base game...
@Cambragol Here's a batch of awkward phrases I've encountered playing over the last week or so. (I've been working on F2:CE more than playing though… oops)

Poking around a bit, CE does have pretty decent sfall support already. For instance arrays: https://github.com/alexbatalov/fallout2-ce/pull/269 and global scripts (https://github.com/alexbatalov/fallout2-ce/issues/200) exist. I'll have to see what's missing in terms of hooks
@Lexx I hear you. In general, getting Fallout 1 running correctly in F2:CE is something I've been thinking about so that two versions of the engine don't have to coexist (F:CE exists, but it's very unlikely it'll be maintained at the same level as F2:CE).
Could you point me to some docs about...
FYI, development continues with a fork: https://github.com/fallout2-ce/fallout2-ce/

Nice! That's a nice touch.
I largely agree that that. It would be hard to add a character as rich as, say, Harold in Fallout 1, to Sonora without a lot of surgery. I think the main thing is making the stakes seem "real" and believable enough for the player to make interesting (and hopefully...

I realize now there's more to this than just the mine administrator quest to repair the machine. When you return to Villa, the repair of the machine triggers the resolution of the Villa–Flagstaff tensions on the theory that the mine labour is now "automated". (At least, I...
:). It jumped out at me as non-spanish speaker (albeit, I live somewhere with lots of spanish speakers so it's common to have a familiarization with the pronunciation).
Got it! I haven't made it to the Pier yet but I can target the Rangers next.
Re: editorially: I agree. This pass I'm...
FInishing off Flagstaff. As always, there are very few typos or much to quibble with.
I think it'll take me quite a while to get through the whole game (I also haven't played through the whole thing either). Are there any areas you think could use attention more than others?
Yeah, this one seemed odd to me since the caravan has no destination/route with no current customer or even prospects. I agree it's not critical to change.
Fair.
Now that I'm familiar with the idiom, I completely agree. It's my natural assumption that awkward phrasing or odd idioms come from...
Starting a dialog-by-dialog review for Flagstaff. This one's pretty long but covers some of the major characters (Kagan, bartender, Administrator, Preacher), . I'll start putting the reviews in spoiler tags to avoid spamming this thread too badly.
This makes a lot of sense to me. Almost certainly the biggest obstacle to getting people to try it is how finicky it is to get running. It's not super complicated, but dragging things into the right folders and downloading from sketchy-seeming russian sites is a bit much for most. Happy to...
Perhaps! It kinda of works too—he's mad, but not inherently violent, and doesn't have the stomach for violence. Unfortunately this just means that they chase each other around the map until you decide to kill one of them (that works though).
I think that could work. So if you haven't spoken...
